Current safety management and reporting systems are ineffective, obsolete, and must be upgraded.

Union Services Access has partnered with a nationally recognized safety system spftware developer to provide unions with a 21st century computerized safety management system specifically designed for the labor sector. The benefits are significant:

  • Computerized incident / accident reporting which eliminates the potential of misinformation and lost accident reports, thus protecting your claim for benefits.
  • The Safety Management Program is proprietary to YOUR union and your incident report is maintained and monitored by your union.
  • YOUR union will investigate and manage your incident report until completion. Then it can be forwarded to you for your records and will be retained indefinitely by your union for future reference.
  • The Safety Management Program is specifically designed with the resources to provide YOUR union with the ability to quickly analyze al incident reports to identify trends and take the necessary corrective actions to prevent similar accidents in the future.

Therefore, when any union member is injured on a work job site, observes an unsafe work condition, or is exposed to hazardous materials, immediately report your incident by contacting your union’s Safety Management Program at 1-877-917-2331. To assure a safe, accident free workplace and safegaurd your rights, you must use your union’s Safety Management Program. Remember to report!

We are proud to have assembled the finest union safety directors in the region to serve on the USA Safety Management Committee.  The founding members of the committee are James Dollard of IBEW Local 98, Pat Merk of District Council 21, Ed Pena of Ironworkers/Rod Setters Local 405, Anthony DiSabato of the Cement Masons and Plasterers Local 592 and Dennis Cowley of Sprinkler Fitters Local 692.  USA’s members are in good hands when it comes to their on-the-job safety.
